Careers at A*CRC
Cirrus is A*CRC's only system that is neither based on the x86 architecture nor running any variant of Linux. It is an IBM Power7 system running AIX. Comprising mainly 30 units of the IBM P755 system (and a core count of 960), it has a peak performance of about 26TFLOPS. It is meant more for applications running on AIX that have not been ported to x86/Linux yet.
